  • Vibroakustična karakterizacija vodnega ventila : magistrsko delo magistrskega študijskega programa II. stopnje

This work studies acoustic and vibration properties of four different sanitary cistern water valves. At working conditions an interaction between uid and structure yields the eigen response of the ... structure. The valve dynamics is transferred into the water pipe in the form of a water pressure uctuations, which are not desired since they cause noise emissions of a water installation. Measurements of noise emissions of water installations are defined in SIST EN ISO 3822. The problem was approached with experimental and operational modal analysis of all four versions of valves. The result of the analysis are the modal shapes and operating de ection shapes which help to detect the mechanism of water pressure uctuations. Operational modal analysis is used to detect critical operating de ection shapes. Valve optimisation is possible with their reduction. With noise emission measurements the valves are acoustically characterised. Detaied analysis between sound and water pressure shows the correlation between noise mesurements results and noise measurements according to the standard. The relationship between the amount of emitted noise and pressure uctuations is analysed. Higher water pressure uctuations result in higher noise.
