Adapting a multimedia tutorial for distance learning

In our paper we will present a design of a multimedia tutorial with multimedia flow chart based authoring too. We will briefly present different possibilities in implementing media, such as text, ...graphics, animation, sound and video in such an authoring tool and emphasize it's advantages compared to other multimedia authoring tools. The heart of the matter will be an interactive tutorial (multimedia presentation) designed with a flow chart based authoring tool. The main goal of this tutorial is in tutoring the basics of MM design with a flow chart based authoring tool concerning built-in functions supported in flow chart based approach multimedia authoring. We designed the tutoring tool with the concept of class learning and adapted it to distance learning and user testing over Internet. In our discussion we will emphasize the steps taken in our approach with flow chart based multimedia authoring tool and conclude with an approach controlling user interactivity within flow chart based multimedia presentations.
