  • Evolucijski induktivni pristop avtomatskega učenja pri odkrivanju novega znanja

    In the past two decades we have seen a dramatic increase in the amount of information or data being stored in electronic format. Because of this accumulation the KDD (Knowledge Discovery in ... Databases) has become a very attractive discipline in the field of intelligent systems. In this paper we will present the new method for discovery of new knowledge IDERAL (Inductive Datamining Elimination-Rule Algorithm), which uses a multi-population self-adapting genetic algorithm for the induction of decision trees and method for evaluation of the degree of "new" knowledge based on knowledge abstraction from the articles collected on the internet. The method is currently tested on the medical databases.
