  • A note on a paper of B. Yood

    The purpose of this note is to present the following result which generalizes ▫$B$▫. Yood's noncommutative version of the classical Singer-Wermer theorem: Let ▫$A$▫ be a noncommutative Banach ... algebra. Suppose there exists a continuous derivation ▫$D: A\to A$▫, such that ▫$[[D(x),x]x]\in R$▫ holds for all ▫$x\in A$▫, where ▫$R$▫ denotes the radical of ▫$A$▫. In this case ▫$D(x)\in R$▫ is fullfiled for all▫$x\in A$▫.
