  • The importance of language and communication in multinational companies [Elektronski vir]
Sedej, Tanja, 1978- ; Justinek, Gorazd
Corporate communication is a complex and delicate issue that requires more management attention than is usually given. The development in the multinational companies towards flatter structures, ... horizontal cooperation and communication to ensure the integration of all units of the company makes the importance of a common language even greater. Language can unite people and organizations, but also divide them. Poor communication across multinational companies is often one of the major problems in the integration of subsidiaries in different countries. Regular and clear communication and knowledge transfer, which assumes a shared language, serves to cement companies together and enables them to operate successfully in many cultural environments.
