    Background. 45 year old patient is presented in whom after treatment of chronic hepatitis C with interferon a sarcoidosis occured with involvement of many organs including skin, lung and liver ... Inflammatory activity of sarcoidosis started to diminish only after treatment with interferon a had been stopped. Conclusions. In patients treated for chronic hepatitis C with interferon a we must consider sarcoidosis as a possible, although very rarely described side, effect of treatment.
