  • Soil as a subject of study in Slovenian primary and secondary school curricula

    The article deals with the objectives relating to the close examination of soil in primary and grammar schools. The Slovenian textbooks are compared withthose from Germany, Austria and Croatia, where ... a clearer approach to soil as a landscape component can be found. The Slovenian school geography should offer the highly interesting contents which would simultaneously carry an applicable value and give pupils and students new knowledge and experience. Toreach these aims of education, pupils and students also need to be acquainted with the simple scientific research methods
