    The epidemic of COVID-19 has brought many challenges to the education of children and adolescents with special educational needs. In June 2021, after the end of the second wave of the epidemic, the ... Counselling centre for children, adolescents and parents in Ljubljana conducted a study in which we used a self-assessment questionnaire to examine children’s, adolescents and parents’ experiences with distance learning (in terms of the course of instruction, learning at home, conditions for distance learning, support provided to children and adolescents, learning success, progress, and development of new learning skills). We compared the children’s and adolescents’s self-assessment with their parents’ assessment and identified open issues that have implications for future schooling.
