    The author describes the terracotta relief of the Virgin with the Child in the Provincial Museum in Koper and suggests that the fragment of a woman's head in the same collection may originally have ... been the Virgin's head. This is a version of the composition by Antonio Rossellini which is known as the IMadonna of the Candelabrai in numerous replicas. Its quality could suggest that the relief was produced in the master's workshop. Historical data indicate the possibility that terracotta figures were produced in Koper in the 15th and 16th centuries.
