    Sustainability of polymer products may be evaluated through various approaches; however, simulating their behavior using commercially available FEM software packages offers several benefits, ... providing accurate prediction in virtual world. In order to perform such simulation, one needs a complete mathematical formulation of material behavior under different loading conditions (extension, shear and bulk). Within this research we report on the procedure to determine complete constitutive viscoelastic description of polymer, i.e. retardation Li(λ) and relaxation Hi(λ) spectra, using advanced conversion and interconversion methods of creep data, measured only in extension and shear, respectively. While these so called transfer functions may be used in simulation for predicting mechanical responses of polymer-based products and structures, they also provide extensive insight on the nature of polymer behavior under different loading conditions.
