  • Cooperation with parents in the Swedish, Finnish and Slovenian kindergarten curriculum

    In this paper we will present two national curricula for kindergartens, namely Slovenian, and Swedish. One curriculum is from the city of Helsinki in Finland. We will analyze how they include ... cooperation with parents in the curriculum and present selected quality indicators of the Slovenian, Swedish and Finnish space, and how they deal with cooperation with parents and educators or. kindergartens in the individual quality indicators considered. We will conclude with a discussion of the analysis of differences and similarities and issues, as based on the analysis of curricula and articles we find that the culture of partnership in Europe is still evolving and that various preschool experts are aware that the field of partnership with parents should be further explored and educators should be properly educated to partner with parents and families.
