  • Teacher's vocal technique as a condition for quality music education : Elektronski vir

    Singing at all levels of music education is the basis for advancement in any field of music. For this reason, it is important for music teachers to have properly developed musical skills and to ... master the vocal technique accordingly. The article emphasizes the importance of knowing the voice apparatus and its operation, the importance of mastering vocal technique, as well as the knowledge of appropriate methods of work in teaching singing. Among other things, we examine the impact on the quality of teachers' vocal technique according to education and age. We conducted an applied empirical, descriptive, non-experimental research involving 74 teachers. Data were processed using the SPSS computer program. Basic descriptive statistics and bivariate and multivariate parametric analyses were used. The results of the research highlight the influence of the vocal technique of teachers on pupils' performance in singing activity and on the quality of music education.
