  • Presentation of the psychotherapeutic treatment of psychosomatic problems or in pursuit of womanhood?

    The case study of a younger woman who had no menstruation for more than three years is presented. Introductory psychodiagnostic treatment revealed extensiverestraints om the oral possessive and ... aggressive field accompanied by stressed symbiotic ties and identity problems. The implication of AT was first indicated by somatic symptoms and the patient's interest. Her feelings and visualisation enabled a fast move to causal, analytical psychotherapy. Psychotherapeutic process is clearly shown in developmental phases which led, through somatisation, to psychogenic problems, narcissistic feeling of shame, clearer formation of self, and finaly to pregnancy and conception respectivelyat the time of reporting.
