  • Zgodnji ishemični zapleti po sistemskem trombolitičnem zdravljenju pri bolnikih z akutnim miokardnim infarktom = Early ischemic complication after systemic thrombolytic treatment of patients with acute myocardial infarction

    100 patients with acute myocardial infarction (MI) were studied during their hospital treatment. The examination group consisted of 59 patients, who received intravenous short - time high - dose ... streptokinase. Successful thrombolysis was estimated by the speed of washing out creatinekinase in the system circulation. The remaining 41 patients were treated symptomatically and made up the control group. Clinical symptoms and EKG changes were noticed during hospital treatment. The exercise test on cycloergometer was performed before hospital dismission. The authors were looking for the incidence of angina pectoris (AP), ischemic EKG changes and those of global and regional ejection fraction defined from radioisotopic ventriculography. The authors believed that clinically present AP, latent and stress - induced myocardial ischemia were more frequent in patients with successful thrombolysis. Finally, it can be stated the coronary angiography and adequate reperfusion management must be performed in patients with successful thrombolysis before leaving in hospital.
