  • AES studies of surface phenomena on liquid InSn alloy
    The initital phase of surface oxidation on pure liquid InSN alloy (20 at %In; 80 at % Sn) was studied with our new sensitive investigation mehtod based on Auger Electron Spectroscopy. The surface of ... liquid alloy was exaposed to pure oxygen (▫$10^4L-10^6L). On oxidised InSn surface (1.5x10^4L and 1.5x10^5L) the difference between Auger spectra of pure metal indium (402 eV; 408 eV) was found. For tin the characteristic chemical shift was not determined, only a change of the shape of Auger spectra was recognized.$▫
