    The data shows that the number of children in the preschool period with behavioural, emotional, and social problems is increasing. The number of families needing active social assistance is also ... increasing accordingly. Understanding the impact of early education and early treatment of these children is essential. The purpose of the article is to review available research and findings in the field of behavioural, emotional, and social problems in preschool children and to provide guidelines for working with them, as problems in the behavioural, emotional, and social spheres in the preschool period of children require high-quality and developmentally appropriate environments to support the social-emotional development of children. We present the pyramid model as a universal model for the early treatment of problems in the social, behavioural, and emotional fields, which can prevent and reduce the occurrence of issues and consequently contribute to the better social and emotional development of children in the preschool period.
