    In order to conduct a successful research, a researcher should be motivated and eager to write about his thesis. For me this thesis was very interesting because my entire life I have wanted to ... participate and see the International Court trials and their history. The thesis I have chosen to write about studies The International Court of Justice (ICJ), which is one of the main bodies that resolved international disputes of states and also the most important judicial organ of the United Nations (UN). I am also going to examine the International Criminal Tribunal of Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR). Basically this thesis will show the theoretical analyses of the role of the ICJ, ICTY and ICTR since they were created until nowdays. ICTY and ICTR were created by the UN to try individuals that committed war crimes, during war time, including manslaughter, rape and genocide. These courts were set active during 1993 and 1994. Until now, war crime trials were not that effective. The trials held at that time were prolonged , corrupted or even cancelled due to unreasonable factors, which I will elaborate in this thesis. As a working method, I have used the analytical method, statistics and observation. The research question of this thesis is; Are the criminals and persons responsible for genocide and crimes committed in Kosovo and elsewhere in the world condemned and are being punished?
