    Literary theory as a component of the methodological system of classroom interpretation in the education of a cultivated reader: The article discusses the concept of cultivated reader, the main ... objective of the teaching of literature in Slovene secondary schools leading to the final 'matura' (baccalaureate) examination. In pursuing this objective, the most important role is played by the active method of literary interpretation in the classroom. This is a system of teacher and student activities that passes through various stages of reception of literary works. An important place in such active reception goes to questions and activities stimulating a reflective observation of the components of a literary work. The approach usesdidactic definitions of literary theory concepts reshaped as questions. Inthe process of the formation of a didactic system of applied literary theory, scientific literary theory undergoes a didactic transformation. The procedures of this transformation are described and illustrated by examples of analysis of the internal structure of narrative texts. A final scheme sumsup the entire system of questions making part of a classroom interpretation of a literary work.
