    This article presents a description and a critical analysis of the cycle of “fam-ily novels” published by Ana Grynbaum between 2016 and 2021.The object guiding the reading is the field of ... “symptomatic reading” [symptomale], of the narrative conflicts that, cut out in the fictional series, give shape to the for-mulation of a singular literary gamble. The approach proposed is that of close reading, and the aim of the article is to show to what extent the literary work of the “family novel” manages to twist the destiny of simple sublimation to which every exercise of imaginary solution or suture seems to be tied.
