    The main objective of re-engineering the functional and organizational structure in Litostroj was establishing a total automation of information flow. athis would provide the immediate working ... process state-of-the-art information, the information flow data archiving in a common data-base and determine the internal communication and information flow. As a tool for determining the function information flow the IDEF0 function modeller was used. The IDEF0 modeller was applied on a segment of working process which was the Creating of Bidding. It was chosen because of its importance and representativeness. In engineer-to-order type of manufacturing in the process of creating a bidding all the enterprise departments are involved. The extension of this model on the entire working process is the pursuing task which should be easily accomplished.
