  • Pukotine u betonu sekundarne tunelske obloge

    Typical cracs of various shape and width can occur in the concrete of secondary tunnel lining, where they appear mostly as longitudinal cracks in tunnel crown and as vertical cracks in sidewalls of ... the tunnel. In this paper is presented experimental and theoretical study of such occurrence, as well as the study of crack occurrence at some existing tunnels. Concrete properties relevant for the crack occurrence were tested: compressive and tensile strength, shinkage, creep and deflection. The testing was conducted on two groups of seven different mixes designed specially either for winter or for summer conditions. Due to the compexity of causes of cracking, the laboratory research of an optimum concrete composition was conducted using a specially designed apparatus that enables testing the influence of concrete composition and different ambient temperatures on the risk of crack occurrence in the case of restrained deformation. It has been shown that it is possible to design concrete with minimm risk of crack occurence.
