    This paper takes in consideration the pre - and post - operation period and presents the relevant factors for the speech - language acquisition, the techniques for the prediction of the results of ... the verbal behaviour of the CIcandidate (articulatuon index, video analysis - turn taking, eye contact...), the results of comparative researches between vibrotactile, auditory aids and the cochlear implant users. It takes also in consideration the whole personality of the CI user in the bilingual situation and his socio - psychological integrity.
