  • How to think (as labour lawyers) about supply chains
    Langille, Brian
Labour lawyers have a standard way of thinking about their discipline as the regulation of contracts between employers and employees. This way of thinking produces well-known problems when applied to ... supply chains. This article begins by looking at standard labour law analysis of supply chains within a single nation (the example is Canada). It then suggests that there is evidence of a new non-contractual but functional way of addressing such supply chains. The essay finally explores the potential and limits of this alternative way of thinking for international supply chains.
