    In this paper we present solar heat storage wall, which absorbs solar energy into paraffin wax. Stored heat is used for the ventilation of the building. First part of the article explains physical ... principles of storing energy into phase change material and the operation of solar wall, which is also patently protected. The second part of the article presents mathematical model for storing energy into phase change material. Heat transfer with melting and freezing process by changing the aggregate state is solved with the use of finite difference method. The phase change process is solved with use of enthalpy method. This model also includes the latest research with enhanced heat transfer in phase change material which is solved with the insertion of the fins. Last part of the article presents simulation of yearly operation of solar wall with enhanced heat transfer. This is done by TRNSYS software, where the subprogram for energy storage is included.
