  • Visioplasticity method for determination of stress and strain in cold formed material

    In the metal forming processes, the stress and strain distribution in the deforming body plays an important role for the design of machine tools and for the quality of formed material. The ... visioplasticity method has been widelyused for strain and stress analysis of axismemetric deformation processes without an assumption on boundary conditions at the contact between a tool and a workpiece. In this article the effective strain and stress components distribution is analysed using the visioplasticity method. Comparisons are made between effective strain and stress distribution of the specimens extruded with two different lubricant friction factor coefficients.
