  • Gazele France Prešerna a sonety odeskie Adama Mickiewicza

    Among sources of inspiration forming the individual style and the ideological model of Prešeren's poetry, one needs to point out the impulse from Adam mickiewicz's work, which goes considerably ... beyound the limits of the sonnet Rezygnacja ("resignation"). The analysis of Prešeren's Gazele ("Ghazals") and Mickiewicz's love sonnets shows that the cycles of both poets are the expression of a poetic gesture in which the poets through their poetic subjects address the public. Moreover, these poetic works represent a turning point from the artistic and ideological points of view.
