  • Strength development of the high performance concrete

    The results of experimental tests carried out to determine compressive strength development of high-strength concrete mixes are given in this paper. At the evaluation of the development of ... compressive strength with time, the equation given in CEB-FIP Model Code 90 was selected for the predictional model. The model includes coefficient "s" as the most important parameter, which presents the influence of the cement type on the rate of strength increment. The rate of strength development was found to influenced by the use of silica fume in high-strength concrete mixes. An explainations on how the value of coefficient "s" as the most important parameter, which presents the influence of the cement type on the rate of strength increment. An explainations on how the value of coefficient "s" is influenced by the use of different percentage of silica fum, for 28-day compressive strengths ranged between 73 and 92 Mpa, is given
