    The article introduces the idea of a Hypermedia Classroom model adapted for the development of distance education in countries in transitions. Inside a Hypermedia Classroom model, a hypermedia ... lecture room is introduced as the central part of on-line communication and information exchange between teachers, tutors, students and other classrooms. The article explains the different teaching methods and the transmission procedures for electronic education materials. Transmissions of exercises and procedures, as well as interaction with measurement instruments at remote laboratories, are included in the Hypermedia Classroom model.
