    Much has been written about the possible health hazards of electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Consumers are bombarded with quasi-scientific reports, many of which are more confusing than accurate. This ... paper presents a project undertaken to evaluate high frequency electromagnetic fields using a TEM mode, the propagation mode calculation method followed by confirmation of any doubts about field levels using on-site measurements. An electromagnetic field can be monitored through all stages from the design to the operational state of the radiation source because of the use of both possible evaluation methods (calculation and measurements).
