    In order to understand and to communicate about the world, and to cope with its complexity, we are constantly classifying things. Perhaps the most basic function performed by our brain, learning, is ... that of discrimination, or classification of things. Of course, the classification process is not without mistakes, which can easily be measured. The research question that is addressed in this paper and at the same time the contribution is the approach to estimate the learning capability of a learner in terms of accuracy. The approach can be used to check whether the combination of the given data (training) and the learner would produce the desired results. Also, it can be used to compare different training approaches and different learners. The approach is universal and can be used to estimate both, human learners and machine learning algorithms.
