  • Model of self learning management system of automated storage and retrieval systems

    In the recent years there were dramatic changes due to the increasing complexity of industrial production, the need for high utilization, higher flexibility, higher quality and lower costs in ... automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). Using the optimization algorithms the performance of the storage retrieval machine can be achieved. Optimization algorithms cannot be contentedly solved by conventional methods and tools. Therefore the need for self learning intelligent management AS/RS is established. The paper first discusses the reasons for the use of intelligent systems in such environment and then it presents the model of the intelligent management automated storage and retrieval systems supported by relational database. The presented model could be very useful for optimization of automated storage and retrieval systems.
