  • The demonstration of the neural networks modeling

    The main purpose of the work is to show the practical possibilities of use of neural networks. The practical example is provided showing the steps necessary for the AES spectra removal. The ... background removal is an important part of automatic AES spectra analysis. The simplicity and elegance of the neural networks practical use is demonstrated, while its drawbacks and limitations are also provided and discussed. The demonstration starts by the explanation of basic neural network concenpts, and the main principles of learning. The problem of AES spectra background is presented. The neural network tool Neuralyst is used and presented together with its configuration and the representation of the posed problem to the neural network system. The AES spectra background is modeled and finally removed. The presentation concludes with several examples of practical neural networks applications.
