    The Slovene baroque painter Franc Jelovšek (1700-64) was commissioned by Kristof Laurenz von Flachenfeld and his wife, Maria Anna Theresa, née von Wintershoffen, to paint two altars: one for the ... chapel of St. Notburga in the parish church of St. Matthew at Slap by Vipava (?1744-47), next to which the Flachenfeld villa was located, and another for the chapel in the Ajmanov grad manor by Škofja Loka (1739-56), also owned by Flachenfeld. The paper also opens the question of the relation between the two patrons and the painter, since they acted as godparents to Jelovšek's son Kristof Andreas, born in 1729
