    Recently, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) regulations such as FCC, VDE, CISPR, and EN are tighter than ever. Modem power electronics is today an engineering ... discipline that deals with the conversion of electrical power using fast semiconductor devices. Because the semiconductor devices are utilized as switches reducing the losses is designer's main concern. Switching operation generates signals with high du/dt and di/dt, and, consequently, wide bandwidths of disturbances. Because the power electronics equipment is usually connected to the supplying lines, those wide-band signa1s are travelling through them and pollute the electromagnetic environment with unwanted interference.
