  • Well-being of employees in transitional organizations [Elektronski vir]

    Organizations should monitor the well-being of employees and take steps to improve it. Assessing the well-being of individuals from psychological and sociological viewpoints uncovers better the ... problems and chances for improvement of economic outcomes than the economic indicators do. Differences exist also between the more and the less innovative organizations. No model for integration of economic and other indicators is known, at least not concerning the transitional, e.g. Slovenian organizations. In order to encourage the use of outcomes of well-being in shaping management, creating a systematic and requisitely holistic measurement tool for assessing key variables of well-being for representative samples of population is necessary. The variables would include positive and negative emotions, commitment, purpose and meaning, optimism and trust as well as a wide concept of life satisfaction, while linking them with economic indicators.
