    International Scientific Conference NANOAPP 2019 (4 ; 2019 ; Ljubljana)
    Book of Abstracts NANOAPP 2019 includes the Program and scientific contributions of the 4th International Scientific Conference Nanomaterials & Applications NANOAPP 2019 - Nano4Circularity, ... organized by the Institute of Environmental protection and Sensors, in cooperation with the Styrian Chamber of Commerce, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Maribor and company Teletech. The Nano4Circularity Conference with focus on Nanomaterials in the Circular Economy was held in Ljubljana, in Hotel Slon, from June 3-6, 2019. During the conference, 40 scientific lectures were presented. The lectures were presented by 18 world-renowned scientists from 13 countries, experts in the field of synthesis of new nanomaterials and their applications in energy, environment, as well as food, sensors, medicine, biotechnology, textiles. A strong emphasis was also on providing information on the environmental and human health impact of nanomaterials and nanotechnologies. The "Nano4Circularity" sections were organized to share ideas, renowned and distinguished researchers, scientists, and experts in the Circular Economy for recycling metals, rare earths, and water, using nanotechnologies. As Forum for discussion and connections in the Circular Economy, a Round Table was organized to discuss the challenges of transferring nanomaterials to the field of Circular Economy. About 100 participants from the scientific and economic spheres attended the conference.
