    The knowledge of the thermodynamics of complexe systems consisting of gases and metal should be valuable for the control of industrial processes. The Gibbs energy minimization model has been ... implemented in the software program GPRO and associated with a powerfull and reliabel database. The computer package can perform computation of the equillibrium composition in very complex chemical and matallurgical systems. Some examples in this paper illustrate the simplicity of the computation and the use of the program in the field of some typical metallurgical applications.
