    The article discusses the micro-macro linkages as one of central theoretical problems in contemporary sociological theory, with special focus on emotions. Firstly, emotions are analysed as the ... integral parts of all constituent processes of micro universe (motivating, interacting and structuring processes). The author then present emotions as both, dependent and independent variables. Emotions are experiences, shaped by macro subjective (culture) and macro objective (social structures) phenomena, and at the same time, micro emotional processes and events work upward to confirm, maintain and change macro level of social reality.
