  • Slovenske nacionalne usmeritve za preprečevanje reaktivacije hepatitisa B pri bolnikih, ki potrebujejo imunosupresivno zdravljenje = Slovene national guidelines for the prevention of hepatitis B reactivation in patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy
Matičič, Mojca ; Poljak, Mario, 1965-
Chronic hepatitis B virus infection as well as the presence of a past viral infection may lead to the reactivation of hepatitis B in patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy due to some ... underlying diseases. Prompt introductionof a preemptive treatment or chemoprophylaxis may successfully prevent the viral reactivation. For that reason, screening for hepatitis B virus infection prior to the introduction of immunosuppressive therapy is crucial for the management of hepatitis B reactivation. The pathogenesis, riskfactors and clinical course of hepatitis B reactivation in patients undergoing immunosuppressive therapy, as well as antiviral agents and the national guidelines for its prevention are presented.
