    The Rural Development Programme of the Republic of Slovenia for the period 2014-2020 (RDP 2014-2020) is a joint programme document of the Republic of Slovenia (RS) and the European Commission ... constituting the basis for the absorption of financial resources from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD). The EAFRD is included in the so-called "Common Strategic Framework for EU Funds" and is thus directly integrated in the pursuit of objectives within the Europe 2020 Strategy. The RDP 2014-2020 reflects national priority tasks defined by the RS on the basis of situation analyses in agriculture, food technology and forestry, and the interaction of these economic sectors with other operational fields in the entire territory of the RS. The European Commission officially confirmed the RDP 2014-2020 on 13 February 2015. The Commission confirmed the first amendment to the RDP 2014-2020 on 23 March 2016 and the second amendment on 14 December 2016.
