    Interesting records of 31 species of Lepidoptera in Slovenia are presented, including the first records of 8 species: Blastobasis huemeri Sinev, 1994, Hypatopa segnella (Zeller, 1873), Limnaecia ... phragmitella Stainton, 1851, Tosirips magyarus Razowski, 1987, Pammene aurita Razowski, 1991, Cydia albipicta (Sauter, 1968), Neognophina intermedia (Wehrli, 1917) and Schrankia taenialis (Hübner, 1809). The new findings are mostly the consequence of more intensive research in the last few years. Some of the species were only recently described, some had been expected but not yet discovered, and some were recognized with more detailed identification methods. Most of the species discussed are considered as rarities because their habitats are not known yet. Brief comments on biology and distribution are provided. We discussthe status of the species Mesapamea remmi Rezbanyai-Reser, 1985, Neognophina supinaria (Mann, 1854), and Neognophina intermedia (Wehrli, 1917).
