    In the times of fast progress in the development of humankind, we often forgetthat sexuality is an integral part of every human being; in the frames of sex education, young people learn about ... biological, sociological, mental and ethical dimensions of sexuality. Although sex education has been a part ofSlovenian elementary school education, the research study performed among high school students in the Pomurje region revealed the need for supplementaryeducationof young people about sexuality and contraception. The intentionof the program of supplementary education on sexuality and contraception is to show the way of teching young people how to establish an appropriate relationship to him/herself and to persons of opposite sex.
