    The mechanisms of deleterious effects of exposure to low and high frequency electromagnetic fields (ectromagnetic effects) in humans, especially hypersensitivity to 50 Hz electromagnetic fields with ... field power under 50 V/mor 1 microT, have not yet been sicientifically clarified. In Slovenia, likein other countries, multidisciplinary research should be inensified to concentrate on the interaction between the dose (i.e. power of electromagneticfields, depending on the frequency range and time of action) and the effect (noncummulative and cummulative) and the influernce of this interaction on humans (occupational and residential environment). To be able to assess the true extent and impact of this problem in Slovenia, we need to set up a computerized national registry of occupational diseases, and diseasessuspected of being occupational, based on an individual and epidemiological follow-up of the incidence and prevalence of occupational morbidity due to exposure to electromagnetic fields.
