    In the context of entrepreneurship research, there is no general agreement on what a successful business is and which factors contribute to an entrepreneurial success. In this study, we use survey ... data and logistic regression method to test the importance of personal, firm-related and business environment factors for entrepreneurship success. Three measures of success are used: survival of the business, employees, and income. Results indicate that personal characteristics are crucial for the survival of the business itself but firm- and environment-related factors are rather related to business growth and income. These findings challenge a "one-size-fits-all" solution and have theoretical as well as practical implications for entrepreneurship research and consulting services for the self-employed
