  • Development of wall elements from composite materials

    Numerous research studies of the applicability of different nonconventional materials for the construction of machines and devices have been carried out in recent years. A variety of alternative ... materials has been used in specific places to improve the behaviour of individual assemblies or the entire construction, mainly its dynamic properties. Several spindle boxes made of composite walls and jointing elements were dynamically tested. The application of complex composite materials in spindle box construction is proposed in order to increase the dynamic stability of the machine tool and the cutting process stability.
