    The TTC offers new avenues of research on several topics in control theory beyond those already discussed. In this chapter, I address some of them: partial control, split control, topic control, and controlled lexical pronouns or reflexives. The discussion will be quite brief and overly simplified, merely aiming to highlight the specific form these traditional issues take in the present context. In discussing the Agree model of control (chapter 2), I mentioned that one of its central concerns was the distinction between exhaustive and partial control.
