The problems of laser rectilinearity

We have examined the problem of the deviation due to the focussing lens movement, if the foccusing lens are not moving parallel to the telescope sighing axis. We have tested the combination of ...theodolite TE-B23 and laser equipement Li-C1 both from firm MOM. We have separately determined the collimation error and the unparallelity of the telescope and laser beam axis. Results show that both errors are not neglectable for precise measurements
