Freeze-thaw resistance with and without deicing salts of polymer cement concrete

The mechanical properties, porosity and frost thaw resiatance without and with the presence of de-icing salts of two types of concrete prepared without and with addition of the two different polymers ...in different quantities were investigated. The results are showing that the addition of polymers diminishes the porosity, increases mechanical properties and provides frost resistance. Therefore, the polymer cement concrete (PCC) can be used for repair works without addition of air-entraining agents.
