    ǂThe ǂfamily enterprise plays an important development role in rural settlements, especially in less developed regions. In this contribution two examples of such settlements are presented (Gubno and ... Pilštanj). The two settlements are different from each other, however their differences can serve as sample representatives of the different groups of settlements in Slovenia. On the basis of findings on the existing state of development potentials the given proposal is for both settlements a development conception.
