Quality design in early phases of product development

In this paper a new methodology of product development and optimization is proposed. It is based on strategic quality deployment (SQD). The proposed methodology is applicable in industry without ...significant organizational changes since the main work tool remains the computer. Robust design methodology is the core of SQD and is modified through execution of experiments, analysis of results and incorporation of random variables. The methodology proposes guidelines to establish threshold between experiments and simulation. The efficiency of proposed development methodology is presented through optimization of electricity meter.
